CA C 1000 ORANGE FLAVOR EFF TAB
Ca-C 1000 Sandoz Effervescent Tablet is used for Scurvy, Vitamin deficiency, Osteoporosis, Hypocalcemia, Vitamin d deficiency, Hypophosphatemia, Cardiovascular health and other conditions. Ca-C 1000 Sandoz Effervescent Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Before using Ca-C 1000 Sandoz Effervescent Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
- Anticoagulant therapy
- Breastfeeding
- Consult your doctor in case of allergies, diarrhea, stomach or intestinal problems, heart disease, hypercalciuria, hyperparathyroidism, sarcoidosis, renal impairment, hypercalcaemia-associated disease
- Consult your doctor in case of questions about the amount of calcium you should be taking in each day
- Diabetes
- Diabetics may have false results on urinary glucose test while taking >500mg of ascorbic acid per day
- Do not administer too rapidly if using intravenous route
- Do not give injectable form of calcium to children
- Do not take more than recommended
- Elderly

Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
- Temporary faintness
- Dizziness
- Injection site soreness
- Kidney stones
- Nausea
- Constipation
- Vomiting at higher dosage
- Disturbance in heart rhythm
- Slow heart rate
- Gas or bloating
- Ca-C 1000 Sandoz Effervescent Tablet may also cause side-effects not listed here.

Ca-C 1000 Sandoz Effervescent Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
- Scurvy
- Vitamin deficiency
- Osteoporosis
- Hypocalcemia
- Vitamin d deficiency
- Hypophosphatemia
- Cardiovascular health
