DESCRIPTION
An amino acid based lysine free, low tryptophan powdered infant formula containing essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, minerals and trace elements, supplemented with long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and prebiotic fi bres.
.For use in the dietary management of proven GA1, from birth to twelve months and as a supplementary feed up to three years of age.
The dosage should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. The daily intake of protein substitute should be taken in divided doses throughout the day.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
• Use under medical supervision. • Not for parenteral use. • Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. This infant formula product should not be used as the sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with a lysine, tryptophan, source e.g. breast milk or standard infant formula to supply the lysine, tryptophan, fl uid and nutritional requirements of the infant in quantities prescribed by a clinician or dietitian.
Important Notice:
Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Infant formula should be prepared immediately prior to feeding and any remaining formula should be discarded if not used within one hour. Formula should not be warmed for longer than 15 minutes prior to feeding. Do not boil formula and do not use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula.
