The daily amount of comida-OAc B formula needed to supplement the daily protein requirements (other than isoleucine, methionine, threonine and valine), depends on age, body weight and individual tolerance for these amino acids. The dose of comida-OAc B formula is to be determined by a physician and must be adjusted regularly. comida-OAc B formula should be fed in 3 – 5 doses during the day, preferably together with a natural protein source. comida-OAc B formula can also be used in combination with calculated amounts of comida-OAc B, especially in grown children with increasing protein requirements.
comida-OAc B formula is to be used in the dietary treatment of toddlers and children over 1 year of age with organic acidemias (acidurias) such as propionic academia (PPA) and methylmalonic academia (MMA) – vitamin B12 non-responsive.
